LoopstackFM Pocket: Six-Op Synth
A six-operator FM synthesizer for iPhone and iPad, in the style of the classic 1980s digital synths. Play it on its own, or load it as an Audio Unit instrument in GarageBand, AUM, Logic Pro for iPad and other hosts.
- 32 original sounds, four cartridges with room for 128, and an editor for every operator.
- Loads classic .syx patch files: one voice, a 32-voice bank or 128 voices. Tap the sound name, then LOAD SYX.
- Audio Unit (AUv3) with host automation, presets, and the app's cartridges A–D.
- Effects: drive, filter, delay and reverb. Arpeggiator and step sequencer.
Support
The plug-in doesn't show in my host. Open the FM Pocket app once, then restart the host. In GarageBand: new track › External › Audio Units › FM Pocket.
My app sounds aren't in the plug-in. Open the app once after changing them; the plug-in's A–D buttons read the app's latest cartridges.
No sound. Check the ring/silent switch and volume, and that VOL on the FX page is up.
